Auditions: we are accepting VIDEO auditions, with IN-adult callbacks. Video submissions are open between now and hour of darkness on 9/22/23. Actors may be notified of callbacks through the conclusion of 9/23/23. In-person callbacks will be held at our theater on Monday, 9/25/23, and Tuesday 9/26/23. personality Descriptions:

Jo March (they/them – teen via younger adult) is the hero of the play. A passionate, regularly wild, and non-conforming younger person who desperately desires to be an expert writer. *Jo may still be played by a non-binary or gender fluid actor.

Meg March (she/her – teen through younger grownup) is the oldest sister of the March family unit. She is even-tempered, neatly-mannered, and sort. An "Angel within the residence."

Beth March (she/her – teen) Jo's dearest confidant and the "coronary heart" of the March household. Painfully shy, however pure of coronary heart. A musician.

Amy March (she/her – pre-teen through younger adult) the child of the household who grows from a useless, yet loveable little woman into a sophisticated, amazing, younger lady. An artist.

Abigail "Marmee" March (she/her – forty+) the mother of the March children. She is persistence and love personified, however commonly with depraved glimmers of humor.

Hannah (she/her – forty+) the housekeeper at Orchard residence. She is frequently portrayed as Irish or Scottish and is a second mother and valued loved one.

Aunt March (she/her – 55+) the haughty, grouchy, terrific-aunt of the March siblings who basically is a beneficiant soul hidden below the grumps.
